Northern Virginia's Arab community is a community of capitals: former diplomats and staff of international organizations, physicians, engineers, and academics, and Lebanese, Palestinian, Jordanian, Egyptian, Iraqi, Syrian, Yemeni, Sudanese, and Maghrebi families settled in Washington's suburbs for decades. Here you find the Arabic schools, the community centers, and restaurants from every Arab kitchen — and you also find a fast pace of life and some of the worst traffic in the country, which makes the logistics of a family case a genuine daily challenge.
Our service across the counties of Northern Virginia
We serve Arabic-speaking families in Fairfax County and its cities, Arlington and Alexandria, and Prince William and Loudoun counties and their surroundings. Visits take place in accessible, neutral community settings, attended by a professional supervisor for the full session and documented as they happen, with a written report in English within twenty-four hours, in the factual format Virginia's domestic relations courts and law firms work with — and a full explanation in Arabic on request.
In Virginia, custody and visitation cases are usually heard by the juvenile and domestic relations courts of your county or city, and a hearing interpreter is a free right you request in advance from the court office. Read our guide to your language rights — you will find the system fairer than the rumors in the majlis suggest.
From Fairfax to Loudoun — open your file, in Arabic or English, in ten minutes.
Start your caseWhat sets us apart in the capital region
- Discretion for a sensitive region: many community members here hold prominent or sensitive professional positions; your file is an absolute professional secret, and visit locations are chosen with your privacy in mind.
- Scheduling that understands Washington traffic: we plan times and locations around the region's famous congestion, so the visit does not begin with the stress of running late.
- Diversity we actually know: from Sudan to Morocco to the Gulf — every dialect in this community is familiar to our team.
- Published pricing with no surprises: a one-time $150 case setup fee, and $65 per hour with a two-hour minimum — details here.
Questions from Northern Virginia families
I am in Virginia and the other parent is in Maryland or D.C. — how does this work?
Which court hears your case is determined by jurisdiction rules and the child's residence — that is your attorney's territory. Our field service in the region is centered on Northern Virginia, and we coordinate visit locations with both parties' cross-river commutes in mind wherever possible.
My professional situation is sensitive — who sees my file?
Only the direct case team: the coordinator and the assigned supervisor. Reports go exclusively to whoever the court order or the attorneys designate. We discuss files with no one else — and we do not even confirm to any outside party that you are a client.
Are virtual visits available for someone who travels often?
Where the court order allows supervised virtual visits, we can arrange and document them to the same standard as in-person sessions. Mention it when you register and we will review the text of your order with you.
